SafetyFilm Holder for 12" to 14" telescopes

Holder for the Baader Planetarium Solar Safety Film. Fits over telescope tube. It consists of a wooden ring locally lathed to fit the exact outer diameter of your telescope. It also consains two hardboard rings. Glue the SafetyFilm onto one (stress free) with contact glue and use the second to clamp it in position onto the wooden ring. Manufacturing requires about 2 weeks. For telescopes larger than 12" (360mm tube od) and up to 14" (410mm). Varnished. Available in 'full apperture' and 'off axis'. Please supply your telescope outer diameter (of tube) as a comment when you order as well as configuration (full apperture will be assumed if you do not specify). Allow for free play as you will get very close to what you specify.
