Many amateur astronomers believe that the 20x80 size of giant binoculars provides the perfect balance between aperture and magnification. The Gemini™ 20x80 LW adds the additional features of a rubber-padded aluminum center-bracket for easy tripod mounting, 3.2° true field of view and remarkably light weight of just 4 lbs., 9.5 oz.  The 20x80 LW’s lightness means that this big binocular can be mounted on a variety of medium-duty tripods that would normally be unsuitable for so large an instrument. That translates to a lighter overall setup and significantly reduces the investment necessary to procure a solid mounting. Each binocular is covered by our two-year warranty. Every Garrett Optical binocular must pass a rigorous 14-point inspection that insures a high degree of both optical and mechanical performance, including accurate collimation.
